LeIla M. White, 69, passed from this earthly world to live with her Heavenly Father on April 11, 2021 in Grand Island, Nebraska.

LeIla was born April 2, 1952 in Alliance, Nebraska, to Lloyd and Delores Keslar.

As a child, LeIla lived in Hyannis, NE, Aurora, IL, North Platte, NE, Wray, CO, and Flagstaff, AZ.  Between her junior and senior years of high school, the Keslar family moved to Lincoln.  After graduating high school from Lincoln Northeast High School, LeIla returned to Arizona where she met her first husband.  LeIla and David G. Jones were married on July 5th, 1972.  To this union were born two children, Gabriel Isaac and DaVida Marie.  After a brief marriage, LeIla and David were divorced and LeIla returned to Lincoln to pursue a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  LeIla married Ricky Lewis White on November 9, 1982.  They resided in Lincoln and Grand Island.

LeIla was a spiritual woman, and was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and the Restored Church of Christ.  LeIla never knew a stranger, she could talk to anyone about anything.  Her life experiences gave her much empathy for the lonely and downtrodden.  She willingly gave what she could to many different charities.

LeIla’s interests included family, writing poetry, angels, her dogs – Lulu and Ubu, ice cream (Butter Pecan), candy (all kinds, but especially chocolate!), Squirt, and smoking.  She was a caregiver to her mother while she was in hospice at home.

LeIla is survived by her sister, LaVerna Bakk; brother, Paul Keslar; daughter, DaVida Marie TwoBulls (Glenn Schomer), granddaughters Gabrielle Marie Jones Williams (m. Joseph Wetzel), Echo Rose Kucera; grandsons Eric Eugene Kucera, and Nathan Alan Pfiefer, 3 great-grandsons, 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

LeIla was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Delores Keslar; sister LaVonne R. Ruley; and her son, Gabriel Isaac Jones.
