Deborah Dell (Cleckner) Bitting, 72, passed Sunday, July 30, 2017 in her home in Lincoln, NE surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents Willard, Norma Jean (Schamp) and Pauline (Tice) Cleckner, best friends Deb Cook & Norman Tucker and sister-in-law Margaret (Peg) Wilson. Deb was a warm, caring and compassionate daughter, sister (sissy), mother (momma), wife, grandmother (Nani) and friend. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends and most especially sitting around the table having coffee and conversation. She enjoyed watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and experience the beauty of life.

Her passions included crocheting, knitting, her many Schnauzers, reading romance novels and watching Hallmark (and according to Scott – these were cheesy romance novels and movies), playing penny slots and listening to the many golf and fishing stories as told by Tom(true or not?).

She leaves behind her husband of 46 years, Thomas Bitting; children Tracy (Joe) Hinderks, Troy (Victoria) Novak, and Scott Bitting; grandchildren, Melissa Staab, Emily Delisi, Trez Novak, Wynter Novak and Justice Novak, Kristopher (Tonia) Hinderks, Lisa Helms, Stephen (Becky) Hinderks, and Joey (Amy) Hinderks; great grandchildren, Dakoda Rain Delisi, Alley Mae Staab, Christopher Ewoldt, Melissa Hinderks, Kaelin Hinderks, Braeden HInderks, Matthew Ewoldt, Shelby Hinderks, Shawna Helms, Kiersten Helms, Sawyer Hinderks, Jasmine Hinderks, Jaden Hinderks, Kavan Hinderks and Peyton Hinderks; brothers, Ed (Dindi) Cleckner and Bill (Sandy) Cleckner; sister-in-law Barb (Bob) Shaw and numerous nieces, nephews, special friends, Marilee Tucker and Andi Helmkamp and many other friends and family.

Cremation. No visitation. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 5th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lakeview United Methodist Church (lower level), 230 Capitol Beach Blvd, Lincoln, NE
