Val was such a delightful person. I’m so glad he’s been in my life all these years. My heart goes out to his beautiful family. He led a well-lived life. May that bring you lots of comfort.
I enjoyed getting to know Val among my McDonald’s friends, as well as his wife Marlys. Val had a keen sense of humor and was a pleasure to visit with. My wife, Mary Dee, and I will miss him.

I was so lucky to call Val my uncle. He was so special to me and my sister Cori. He was so kind and patient and funny! I miss him so much. There is comfort to be found since his life was meaningful and full.
I knew Val through my work at one of the public libraries. We always chatted while when he came in and he never failed to make me smile. I am so very sorry for your loss, he will be greatly missed.
