Todd James Corliss
September 19, 1967- August 19, 2024
Todd James Corliss, of Waverly, died August 19, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, after a short but brave battle with cancer. Todd was born September 19, 1967 to James and Linda (Blake) Corliss. He lived life to its fullest in his 56 years and enjoyed being outdoors, vacationing, and spending time with friends and family.
Todd is survived by his wife, Allison, daughter Veda (Nate Smith), son Christian, brothers: Keith (Cindy) Blake, Craig (Lori) Blake, Darren Blake, father Jim (Terrie) Corliss, sister Stephanie Corliss. Todd was preceded in death by his parents Steve and Linda Blake.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Capitol City Christian Church; 7800 Holdrege Street in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The first time I met Todd when we were kids he had just wrecked his dirt bike and came running across the yard and into the house. Steve and Alan ran out of the house to put the burning motorcycle out. Before they made it back ,Todd was back outside bruised , burnt and smiling ear to ear.
The Hog Roasts , the family reunions I remember like it was yesterday.
Catching up with Todd at the Social Hall during a reception was always great
Jamming in the sound proof garage late into the night. Steve and his buddy’s would stop and listen once in awhile.
Such a good hearted, giving, gracious man.
I’ll miss you cousin!
Words cannot express how saddened we are with the passing of our beloved nephew Todd. He was such a kindhearted easygoing person. We will always remember his smile and his infectious laughter. He will truly be missed.

I worked with Todd to hold many NWTF events over the last dozen years. Todd was always friendly and professional. We have an event scheduled for February 2025. We will miss him! Prayers for his family.
My most recent memory of Todd was at his 50th birthday party. My last time in Lincoln/Waverly. It had been so many years since I had seen him before that. But he was the same caring, kind hearted comedian he always was. My most sincere thoughts to the rest of his family, and my family for this loss of such a great person. You will be missed Cuz.

Todd was one of a kind. His smile and kindness are legendary. We had several discussions when I worked for him in High-school that changed the way I saw the world. And I’ll always remember how thoughtful and kind hearted he was.

When you were with Todd; There was no such thing as a closed road, no dare went too far, every night out was an adventure and a $25 car will always get you where you want to go.

The Bellingers extend our sympathies to the Corliss and Blake families. Not only was Todd a student at Waverly High School where my husband and I taught, my daughter and I enjoyed working with Todd and Allison when my daughter got married. May the memories bring you comfort.
My sincere condolences to Todd’s family in his passing. I loved going to Havelock Social Hall because I got to spend time with Todd. He was always so welcoming and down to Earth. I actually did my final dance there so I could share 1 more reception with Todd. I am totally stunned by this news. My heart aches for Allison. May God grant you all comfort and peace.

Our sincere sympathies to Todd’s family. We were totally shocked when we heard. We knew Todd through the Social Hall where we had wedding receptions for our children. He was always so easy to work with and kind. He will be missed by all who knew this wonderful man.
