Groves, a navel veteran, son to the belated Harold and Edna Groves of Nebraska City, Nebraska, left behind his dear wife Kim Groves and his five children, Michelle Groves Hayes and Tammy Groves from Lexington, North Carolina, Timothy H. Groves II, Quentin Cleveland, and Spenser Cleveland from Lincoln, Nebraska. He has ten grandchildren from North Carolina and Nebraska and seven great-grandchildren from North Carolina. He embraced life fully and loved his family dearly.
