Theresa E. Green

Theresa Green, 71, of Roca, passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2025 surrounded by family and friends.
Theresa married Bob Green in 1971 and later made their home in Roca and welcomed three children. Throughout the years, Theresa made many friends in her customer service roles, most recently at Carol Wright Gifts/Dr. Leonard’s.
She was preceded in death by two infant brothers, father William Surrency and stepmother Sylvia, mother Yvonne and stepfather Larry Wrich; brother-in-laws Hershell Hunt, Orville Burgeson and James Green, II.
Survivors include her husband, Bob; children Chuck (favorite daughter-in-law Frannie) Green, Niki Green, favorite child Tubby Green, and honorary son Trey Wrich; granddaughter Bailey Green; Siblings Linda Burgeson, Dorothy Hunt, James (Anita) Surrency, Janet (Frank) Surrency, Janell Surrency, Donna Surrency Devoe, Dwayne Surrency, Butch (Kathy)Wrich, David (Mary) Wrich; several nieces, nephews, “work kids” and fur babies Lulu & Coco.
Celebration of Life to be held on Friday, Aug. 8th, 2025, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Roca Community Center: 15545 B St, Roca, NE 68430.

I worked with Theresa at Carol Wright Gifts…the original CWG off Sun Valley. I had been in a previous dept for 15 years before accepting a position into Customer Service. It didn’t take long before I gained tremendous respect for Theresa and her knowledge. Always one of my favorite people, happy and very helpful. Theresa was the best.
We’re so sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. I will always remember Theresa’s smile and the laughs we shared working together. She will be greatly missed.
Theresa touched so many lives in the very best way. I’m grateful I got the chance to know her as both a colleague and a friend. She was a joy to work with!

I am so sorry for your loss, I meet Theresa when I moved to NE for the military as a spouse and worked at CW gifts and she was my boss! I loved her so much and kept in touched even after I moved she treated me like family. I will miss her so much ! Prayers for you all! 🙏
