Susan D. Young

Susan (Sue) Diane Young, born October 28th, 1947 in Portland Oregon, died October 24th, 2024 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 76.

She loved her family, following them on social media or with texts and phone calls. She loved to travel when she could to see her family. Going to places like San Antonio Texas, Canyon Lake Texas, Phenix City Alabama, Omaha Nebraska and Portland Oregon.

She loved the beach, books, having many favorite authors over the years. She enjoyed word searches, crosswords, coloring and watching TV. Sue was a Husker fan, never missing a volleyball game or the football game on TV, even following the Oregon Ducks and Beavers.

Sue was proceeded in death by many loved ones, Including her husband Larry, her sister Lois, daughter Tami and parents Samuel and Margaret. She is survived and missed by many, her sisters Mary and Chris and their families, her brother David and his family, her sons Martin and Kevin along with their families, her daughters Phyllis and Sandi and their families. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We wish we could name you all.

A Celebration of Life will be held in April of 2025.
