Sondra L. Stone “Soni”

featured image

Sondra “Soni” Stone of Lincoln, NE. passed away on July 8th 2024, at a young 80 years old. Soni lived life large. She loved her husband Bill, dogs Monty and Patch, family and friends. Soni also loved to travel with her very close friends to some of her favorite places, including Key West, Aspen and Cancun. Most of the time, “dressed to the nines” would be an understatement. She loved the bling. People loved her too. So much fun to be around and go to dinner and drinks with. After she retired from the State of Nebraska Department of Aeronautics, Soni and Bill loved to travel to the west coast to visit her son and daughter, and see her grandkids.

Memorials can be sent to The Capitol Humane Society at 6500 So. 70th St. Lincoln, NE. 68516 or to the Rape Spouse Abuse Clinic at 2435 N St Lincoln, NE. 68510.

Oh my, this can’t be true. Soni was the greatest. I loved hanging out with her. I’m really sorry we couldn’t make Key West this year. It’s like losing a sister and losing my brother again. If Lynda hadn’t seen something on Facebook, I wouldn’t have known.
