Shona Kristine Klusman

Shona Kristine (Sorensen) Klusman (77 years old) passed away on February 10, 2022, of natural causes.

Shona was born in Omaha to Zola M. (Lawler) and Marius K. Sorensen on August 7, 1944. Shona was a retired LPN. She was a loving and caring person and was there for anyone who needed help and encouragement. After retirement she worked for Lincoln Public Schools as a Grandmother at Clinton Elementary School. Many was the time when Shona would be out and about and hear, “Grandma Shona” from one of the many students she had the pleasure working with. She was an aunt and great-aunt and was affectionately known as ‘Nonie’ by all who knew and loved her.

Shona was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, a sister and brother, and husband, James Klusman. She is survived by a brother, Howard Sorensen, and sister, Donna (Sorensen) Bales.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am on February 24, 2022, at Havelock United Methodist Church, 4140 N 60th St, Lincoln, NE 68507, Pastor Todd Karges officiating. There will be no reception following the service.
