Condolences for Shirley Yvonne Goetz
My love to you all in the loss of Shirley– she was a soldier to the end, and it was a delight to get acquainted with her and with each of you! May God grant you comfort and peace, and may He mother you in her stead. I know she would want that.
Dear Sherene, I read the College View Bulletin regarding the passing of your mom, Shirley and her memorial service there this last weekend. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family for your loss. Loosing a parent changes your world no matter how old they were when they passed. Your mom touched my life with her pleasant smile and greeting whenever I saw her. Throughout many years, we have visited the CVC as my daughter lives in Lincoln and my grandchildren. If I was so lucky to see your mom and dad there, they were so kind to remember me and faces lit up and would give such a pleasant greeting. Its nice to be recognized and greeted like that. They were a handsome couple and stood out in a crowd. Prayers for your healing during this time of grief. Hope you remember me, Judy Chapman Forde Class of 1975 College View Academy.
