Condolences for Sheppard Ezekiel Perkins, Jr.
My condolences to his family. Fond memories as a co-worker and friend.
So sorry for the loss of Shep. He and I are co-god parents to Dave’s daughter, Jenifer. You were both very gracious in coming in to Dave’s service in 2013 in Green Bay. I don’t think Dave ever had a better friend than Shep. Please know that you both are in our prayers.
Marlene, Malia, Shane
Bill and hold you with our love and prayers at this most difficult time. Shaeppard will be sorely missed we know. Much love and big long hugs, Diane and Bill
Dear Marlene and all of Sheppard’s family,
We extend our sympathies to you in the loss of Sheppard-he was just a tremendous person. I feel so fortunate to have known him. He always remembered and greeted me and everyone around with grace and sincerity. He always expressed a loving concern and bountiful pride in introducing you, Marlene, and clearly loved his family. And he loved the library. His perspectives and opinions were always gracious and spot on. Your family is so fortunate in the wonderful time you all shared together. He will be dearly remembered and truly missed.
Marlene. I was surprised and sorry to hear about Sheppard’s passing. I will not be able to attend the memorial service but want you to know that I am praying for him and for you, Malia and Shane. I will remember him as a devoted, reliable and competent colleague, and a good friend. I am better for having known him. Sincerely, Stu Miller
