Condolences for Russell R. Kreis
Just found out a few days ago about Russ passing away. I met Russ as a student of his when he came to SCC. We threw jabs at each other (inter-service rivalry) constantly. Since my own Dad was a “Wing-wiping Airman” himself, I went easy on Russ. I usually called him a “no-good wing-wiper” but would always remind me that he was an “Excellent wing-wiper”. But to his credit he got quite a few jabs into the Marines himself. We were both on our respective service’s Honor Guard.
I will miss him.
