Richard Wayne Thompson went to be with his Savior on December 12, 2024.
Richard was born in Canton Ohio to Fred and Joan Thompson on January 6, 1949. He has a master’s degree in psychology and an Associate degree in Computer Programming. He was also the President of the Tenant Association where he lived. He loved anything that involved Colorado. He liked Buffalos and Eagles. He adored his family and friends. Bantering back and forth about politics was his thing. He loved talking about the Bible and his Lord and Savior!
He is survived by his children: Melissa and Mikal. Brother: Ronald and wife Fran. Many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandkids. Also many friends that became family at the Lincoln Manor. An adopted daughter Traci, grandchildren: Amanda, Tia, Ransom, Rebecca and Miryia. Great grandchildren: Braddix, Rosie, Lilly, Ricky, Liam and FaeJay.
He’s preceded in death by his parents, Grandma Hattie Weise, Sisters: Linda Knight, Jody Reeder, a Daughter Angie Thompson and a great grandson.

Rick will be missed. He found the Lord later in life and is now with him in heaven. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
I’m so glad I was able to talk with him before he passed. A special thanks to Traci who took care of Rick with shopping, doctor visits and errands. Traci you are an angel.
