My brothers Del and Glen Fussell were good friends with Dick. I have a clear memory of them and Dick playing cards with my mother during snow storms. Dick was a welcome neighbor in our home. My condolences to Dick’s family.

Many fond memories of Mr Babst, from being one of my favorite high school teachers to inviting me along to church group in Norfolk when we would learn and memorize verses in Sword Group. He was a kind and gentle soul and my thoughts are with the entire family at this time.

Thank you for all of years of teaching kids. I feel blessed to have known you. Praying for your family and that God holds all of you in his hands, so you can feel your dad rejoicing with Jesus.

I just caught myself thinking about Dick and did a quick google search to see where he might be. So sorry to hear of your loss Faye, Doug, Mike and Greg. He was a great man. He helped me get closer with God and was instrumental in bringing “Fellowship of Christian Athletes” to Randolph in the early 80s. Myself and 3 others went to St. Olaf College in Minnesota to attend an “FCA” camp. It was a very moving experience for me and I have very fond memories of that trip. Without his suggestion for us to go, and him agreeing to drive us to the camp, it would never have happened. He was a good coach and stood on strong principles. He worked hard and worked us hard and we did okay despite our limited talent. I didn’t know he had left us, and I miss him already. With all my sympathy, Don.
