We loved her and she will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and everyone she impacted. Merletta Johnson is survived by her children: Daunte Johnson, Curtis Johnson, and Sarah Johnson; her husband Curtis Johnson; and relatives: Markeisha Ensley, Chaka Witherspoon, Allison Booker, Kerra Russell (Nicky), Barb Waymire; and many more relatives in Michigan and Kansas City.
A private family service was held in her honor.

Heaven definitely gained an Angel! Merletta was a beautiful woman inside and out! She was very humorous as well! I remember her loving sports and playing in the band!We met when we were in junior high and found out we had the same exact birthday and year! Merletta was very loved and had many friends!
