Marcella Mary Konig
Marcella Mary (Schacht) Konig, wife of the Reverend Paul Konig, passed away June 3, 2021 in Lincoln, Neb. She was born March 22, 1932. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Anna Deubler Schacht. She is survived by her husband and a sister, Carolyn Schacht Henry, of Maryville, Mo.
Marcella was a talented pianist and held a Master’s Degree from the University of Nebraska, where she specialized in music education.
Marcella and Paul Konig were married on July 31, 1963 in Bellevue, Neb.
Marcella and Carolyn both graduated from Tecumseh High School.

Paul, I was heartbroken to learn of Marcella’s passing. You both played a big part in my life growing up. I have always looked at you both as family. I have always enjoyed and loved the times we had together. I learned so much from you both and will always cherish all those memories. I was sending hugs and love. Again I am so sorry for your loss, and Marcella will be missed.
Paul, I just found out that Marcella passed. You have our sincere sympathy. I am the youngest daughter of Elmer & Viola Schacht, so Marcella was my first cousin. Although we have not seen you for a long time, I am very sad at your loss. Our love and prayers are with you.
