Linda R. Lee
Linda was born and raised in New York.
In 1971, at 22 years old, Linda moved to Lincoln.
Linda worked at the State House for a while and then went on to work at Lincoln General/Bryan Health where she worked for thirty nine years as a medical transcriptionist before retiring.
Linda made a lot of friends throughout the city in her many decades here.
Linda is survived by her sister Jackie and Jackie’s two sons Ian and Eric Lipsky and also Ian’s son Sasha and Eric’s two children Simon and Noa; also surviving is a niece Lauren who is a daughter of Norman, Linda’s older brother; and her high school sweetheart and husband A.J. Lee.
Linda, an avid dog and animal lover, spent her retired years volunteering at Capital Humane Society and spending time at dog rescue.
Linda passed away quietly at home with her husband by her side on Friday evening at 10:00 p.m. on December 13, 2019.

Her last three years, with A. J. by her side, we’re some of her happiest. Always in our hearts. We are sorry for your loss.
A.J., Jackie, Ian, Eric, Lauren and everyone – We are deeply saddened with the loss of our dear Linda. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Linda had such a beautiful and generous spirit, and every life she touched was richly blessed for having known her. She had such a zest for life and hosted so many great parties and gatherings with friends. We enjoyed cooking together from time to time, with her learning how to make my baklava, and then showing me how to make those wonderful latkes. She mastered the baklava on her first attempt, but I never could make those latkes. She was an excellent cook! Linda will be forever remembered, missed, and always loved. Kay, Jim, and Mom Royce.

I remember years ago meeting Linda, I was a bit younger than you guys but I loved her immediately. I knew she was a good person. God bless both you and your beloved Linda.

Knowing Linda was such a treat! We shared the same sense of humor and laughed a LOT. She was a true friend and I will treasure her friendship always. We are thankful she and A.J. found each other again, making the last years of her life her happiest. She will be greatly missed and will be remembered always with love. The loss of a friend is the greatest of losses.
I worked with Linda at Lincoln General in Transcription. She was so sweet to me and I’ll never forget the fun we had. She was a good cook and I always looked forward when she brought in treat. She even brought some to my home a few years ago. I am so sorry to hear about her passing. RIP Linda. You were an amazing women.
