    Briana and family,

Words cannot express how sorry I am to see this news of Kelly’s passing. I met Kelly when he had recently broke his neck back in the 90s. He was always so positive even when he had experienced such an awful injury. Last night when I heard the San Antonio Spurs got the number 1 pick in the NBA lottery, I was looking forward to messaging Kelly as he would be so excited! Briana and kids, you should be so proud of Kelly! He obviously fought so hard against the horrible disease of cancer. I personally will never forget him. RIP Waldo! Fly high my friend!

Waldo family. My wife and want to offer our deepest condolences to you guys. Kelly was such a great person. On my recruiting trip to Platte he was the one that showed me around and introduced me to the players on the team. He made me feel so comfortable and was just real nice to me. We wish his wife, kids, and the whole Waldo clan comfort and love.
