Kelley C. Anderson
Kelley Chic Anderson, 76, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on November 11, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born March 13, 1947 in Inglewood, California to Homer and Lucille (Kelley) Anderson. Kelley married Linda (Shafer) June 6, 1980 at Laguna Beach, CA. They made their home in Lincoln, NE.
Kelley had a love for music that started in junior high when he was a band member of The Midnighters. He graduated Class of 1965 from Savanna High School in Anaheim, California. After graduation he performed as singer and guitar player for Him and the Others with a recorded song, Voodoo Blues. He couldn’t imagine life without music.
Sometime after, he started managing the Warehouse, a nightclub in Anaheim, CA. In 1974, Kelley moved his family to Falls City, NE where he was the manager of the Falls City Elks Club. He later moved to Lincoln, NE. and held several management positions in the restaurant industry, mentoring the young and making lasting friendships. Kelley and Linda owned and operated The Roadhouse Bar & Grille in Lincoln from 2000 until they retired in 2013. They moved to Buckeye, Arizona and then later moved back to Lincoln to be with their family.
Kelley had a big smile and sense of humor that brightened the room. He was always giving words of wisdom, whether it be from his Book of Anderson or a quote from a famous movie. He lived by his own words, “You’re never too important to be nice to people.”
He is survived by his wife Linda of Lincoln, children: Shannon Anderson, Tiffany (Joe) Keithley, Joshua (Natalie) Anderson, Ryan (Holly) Rieschick and Lori Rieschick, Grandchildren: Hailey & Gabriel Lardizabal, Benjamin Dixon, Emerson, Tristan, Evan & Clayton Keithley, Maggy (Caleb) Nelson, Meg Rieschick, Macy (Jaxson) Balm, Great Grandchildren: Fletch Nelson, Jordy Nelson, Millie Schieffer, Baby Boy Dupuis due January 1.

Hello ,Shannon and all our family . Sure sad to lose a family member . We have so many and we are spread all over this great country . Sorry Linda .
Kelly and I spent some “fun” good times together. I was good friends with Kelly and his wife Linda.
Kelly will be sorely missed and our thoughts & prayers are with the entire family.
All the best,
Kevin & Julie Watteyne
I realized I hadn’t heard from Kelly for awhile (he often liked a post or sent me a DM during football season). So I went to his page and found he had passed last year. He was my sweet cousin that was the last of the family who remembered our grandparents and their farm in Fontana, CA. and our close families growing up. Our dads were brothers, and we spent a lot of time together. But sadly Kelly and I lost touch after our moms died. Then a few years ago I found him and we reconnected on line. Talked on the phone at least once. Just want the family to know that I cried a tear for Kelly today. Loved him a bunch even though it has been 50+ years since I had seen him in person, and I like to remember that after all these years, he always sent me love when we connected on line.
