So much so, he did not retire until he was 85 years old! He loved sailing and could be found many weekends sailing his Catamaran at Branched Oak Lake with his family. He enjoyed attending the various activities of both the boys, his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was known to take lots of photos and perform magic tricks for the little ones.
Keith enjoyed telling stories of his many life and flying adventures. He often commented how amazing God’s creations were in nature and space. He was a loving family man, always had something positive to say, always willing to help those in need and glad to see you when you walked in the door. Condolences for Keith Richard Arndt
I am so very sorry for your loss, he was a amazing man. I enjoyed talking to him about his days of flying airplanes. He was my client for home health care, and he was always a pleasure to work for.
Keith was always a kind person to me while he worked at Leach in Lincoln. I know how much he cared and loved his family and friends – he will be missed. What a great life he lived – may we all be so lucky!
All my love and warm wishes to the family. My memories are from a brief time in the past when I met Mr Arndt. I was Julie Arndt’s college roommate and friend at UNL. But the memories are great and still very clear and beautiful. All my love!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Keith was a very amazing man. We’re from Kearney NE and he sold us our very first and second fifth wheel campers and also our first brand new motorhome. He was a special person in our lives. May Jesus comfort you all in your time of loss.
My deepest sympathy to Joan, Craig, Lori, Ryan, Brittany, Tim, Logan and Colton, and all of Keith’s family and friends. Keith was always smiling and positive, kind and caring, and loved his family. He was fun to be around and enjoyed life. He was a true gentleman. He will be missed. May his soul now rest in God’s loving arms. 🙏
In the late 80s I was a teacher at Northeast high school and had a group of students who had previously dropped out and returned. I happened to mention this to Keith one time and how they seemed to feel like they were second class citizens. The next week, Keith contacted me and told me to be out in front of Northeast high school with my students at noon. Up, he drove in one of the most expensive RVs on the market opened it up and welcome the kids to come in and look around and treated them like Kings and queens! That’s the kind of man he was! I am sure that he made an impact on those kids lives well he certainly made one on mine!❤️
Our prayers and condolences. He was a great guy .
My Dad-Ray Hartley-worked with Keith at Leach Canper Sales for many years, so I have lots of memories of Keith and Joan! He was a wonderful person, I always enjoyed coming in and chatting with him! You are all in my thoughts and prayers! ❤️
