Joyce Eileen Miller

Joyce E. Miller 84, of Lincoln passed away July 2, 2019.  She was born on April 10, 1935 in York Nebraska, to Harold G. & Francina “Lula” (Cartwright) Rossiter.  She was raised in York and graduated high school in 1953.

Joyce was united in marriage to Jack L. Miller on July 16, 1958.  They made their home in Lincoln at Capital Beach, where they enjoyed boating, water skiing and spending time with friends, family and their beloved dog Mike.  Joyce was also a lover of cats and they were her constant companions throughout her life.

She was an employee of American Stores for many years before becoming a home health care provider.  Helping and taking care people brought Joyce great joy and satisfaction.

Survivors include her brother, Don (Joyce) Rossiter, sister, Joan Irmer, nieces, nephews, cousins, her large family of friends and her cat, Sammy.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Jeanne.

Her family would like to thank the caregivers at Caring for People, Tabitha Hospice and the staff at Sumner Place, for the care, compassion and love they showed Joyce.

No services at this time.  A graveside service will come at a later date.
