Joel Paul MacDermid

Joel Paul MacDermid, 46, of Lincoln, NE died of Covid-19 on November 22, 2021. He was born February 5, 1975.

Joel was a huge Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed working on cars, traveling, loved the outdoors, camping, bonfires, grilling and smoking meat.

Joel is survived by his daughter, Isabella  MacDermid of Mapleton, ND, his lifetime long best friend, Sherry Underwood, his bonus children Alyssa Geiszler, Makayla Geiszler, Jakob Underwood and Logan Underwood, all of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by his mother Rita Macdermid of Everette, WA and his brother, Matthew Macdermid of Fargo, ND.

He is preceded in death by his father and grandmother.

Services will be held at a later date due to covid-19.

    You were a good guy Joel!! We worked together and you helped me a lot at work. Sometimes a pain in the butt lol but you always were there for people. Thanks for being a friend and thinking of me and asking how I was living in Colorado a few months ago. You’ll be missed!!
