Jimmy L. Halte
Jimmy L Halte, age 40, passed peacefully on Wednesday evening, September 6th, 2023 surrounded by many who loved him. Jimmy was born on August 22, 1983 in Nebraska. He was a long time resident of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Survived by his mother Diane Keller and stepfather Keven Smisek of Lincoln; sister Candy Klinker and husband Steve, sister Melissa Halte, both of Lincoln and brother Christopher Thomas of Lincoln; nieces Kayla (Shawn) and Kira; nephew Caleb; great niece Evelyn and by many other family and friends. Jimmy was dearly loved by many.
Jimmy lived life to the fullest. Jimmy had many hobbies that included fishing, camping, racing, video games and listening to Garth Brooks but to know Jimmy was to know he was no stranger to anyone. Jimmy loved to just sit and chat with most anyone for hours. Jimmy wasn’t afraid to learn new things either. If you were fixing something whether that be drywall, plumbing or a vehicle Jimmy was right there with you giving you his opinion or idea. If you weren’t sure of how to go about fixing it then Jimmy was right there to teach you. Jimmy loved many things but one thing Jimmy didn’t do was rush through life. Jimmy ran at his own pace and on his own time, taking in what life had to offer and enjoying his hobbies. Jimmy really did live his life to the fullest.
Jimmy had a kind heart and a laugh that would just make you smile. Jimmy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. May he be at Peace at the rivers of Heaven.
Never Forget
Your presence we miss
Your memories we treasure
Loving you always
Forgetting you never
