Glynis Rose Suhr

It is with heavy hearts and a lot of tears that we say goodbye to our beautiful matriarch, Glynis “Angel” Suhr. A true Southern Belle from Louisiana with a heart as big as the southern sky, she was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandma, and community angel to all. She was the real-talk queen of our family, and you always knew where you stood with her. She was the one who could turn nothing into something, with a spoonful of sugar and a whole lot of grit. Her kitchen was a place of magic, where she’d whip up the most amazing southern food that could fix any bad day. She had an army of “claimed children,” and she loved every one of them just as much as her own. She had a special place in her heart for her dog Cuddles and a knack for making everyone feel seen, loved, and heard. She had the courage and determination of a lioness and she fought for her family fiercely. We will miss her real talk, her humor, and her boundless spirit. She made our lives beautiful, and we are forever grateful. Keep on shining, our beautiful sunflower, until we meet again.
