So sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. Sending condolences to his family. We were guard, golfing, and bowling buddies for more years than I can count. He and I shared a passion for feeding the raccoons that showed up in our yards. He will be greatly missed.
I am so sorry for your loss! Gary was an incredible human. I always enjoyed his laughter. He will be missed by so many. My deepest sympathies. May Gary rest in peace.
I knew Gary from the halls of high school where he was a hall monitor after his retirement. He always had a joke to tell and a sincere smile to share. He was firm with the students when necessary (military training, no doubt) but fair and took the time
to listen. Gary was a valued employee at LSE. He will be fondly remembered by many.
I knew Gary when I was a teenager at Hollywood Bowling Alley where my father worked. Later on I met him when I joined the Nebraska Army National Guard. He was a good man and will be missed. It was a privilege to know him. Rest in peace, my friend.
Gary was the first neighbor that I met when we moved to Lincoln. He was always there to lend a hand. He was loved by so many young people that he mentored while working at LPS, that really shows what he was made of. RIP neighbor and friend, you will be missed by a lot of people

I so remember his sense of humor from my days in Supply with him. Great guy! Thoughts and prayers to his family.
I served in the Nebraska Air National Guard with Gary. Gary would always help me with joy and a smile. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
I am so sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. Gary was fun to be around. Gary was one of the most patriotic persons I have ever met. He loved serving, and was very proud to have served his country in Vietnam. Gary, was a good supervisor and leader. He lead with servant leadership. and preferred logical thinking over political B.S. Gary was down to earth, and loved to ride is motorcycle. This Soldier and Airman will be missed.
My thoughts are with Gary’s family and friends as you mourn the loss of a great man. I was lucky enough to get to know Gary in the halls of Lincoln Southeast. What stands out the most about Gary was the simple fact that he was always smiling despite what could often be a tough job. He attitude rubbed off on teachers and students at LSE and the school was a better place because of him. May he rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to you, Linda, and to all of your family. Clearly, you were devoted to one another and enjoyed many years together. May you find comfort in your memories.
Dear Linda…
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. When I met Gary at Southeast High School he was a campus supervisor who worked his magic with a lot of troubled youths. I saw a man who was loved and trusted by the students and staff alike. His skill set was like no other and he showed all of us how important it was to give all we had to these young people. He was great person I’ll never forget. RIP my brother.
