Fond memories of giving Raptor programs with Elaine. Sweet woman with a huge heart for birds and their environment. Be at peace and rest knowing you made the world a better place. Thank you for all you did!

I had the pleasure of calling Elaine my friend after receiving a Soldier’s angel box while I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2008/2009. I received a care box that she sponsored and wrote her a personal thank you. She wrote me back and our pen pal friendship started.

Our letters continued through the years and we had the opportunity to meet in person on two occasions. I will always cherish our unique friendship in my heart. I will miss her dependable letters discussing the raptors she was always caring for, her latest updates in Lincoln, and her homemade chex mix she always made us for Christmas. Rest in the peace of Gods loving arms and thank you for the love you bestowed upon me and my family. Love to you always dear Elaine!
