Dillon Richard Capps
Born February 25, 1994
Passed away January 9, 2021
Born and raised in Lincoln, NE
Dillon was a proud father and always tried to be the best dad he could be. He loved spending time with his daughter Madison or his little Peach as he called her. He didn’t have much time with Brantley after he was born, but he was able to see and hold him several times.
Dillon had many hobbies and interests including at a young age helping to work on cars with his Grandpa Denny and uncle Rich in the garage. Growing up Dillon also enjoyed spending time at the lake either fishing or tubing behind the boat with his family and friends. On the weekends he would like to go out with his family to ride four wheelers and enjoyed shooting sporting clay with his cousin and friends.
Dillon was known for his sense of humor. His cousin Taylor remembered he was always trying to play pranks and had a joke ready. He loved to make people laugh and smile. His cousins will never forget the time he glued quarters to the ground as a joke and tried having someone pick them up. His family will forever remember his giggle and laugh.
Dillon enjoyed going to car shows and seeing vintage cars. He was known for doing burn outs in his truck. He enjoyed working on cars with his buddies, hanging out with his friends for they meant a lot to him over the years.
Dillon’s best friend and companion was his dog Nova Bear, she got him through his roughest days while battling brain cancer. Although Dillon’s time on earth was short, he will always be remembered in our hearts and will be greatly missed.
Dillon is survived by his daughter, Madison Jo Capps, son, Brantley Richard Capps, mother, Rene Capps, father, Andrew Jones, half-sister Olivia Jones, half-brother, Teague Jones, aunts & uncle, Richard and Rochelle (Burianek) Capps, Kirk and Denise (Capps) Drake, cousins, Zach Capps, Matt and Chelsea (Capps) Kotera, Taylor Drake, Carson Kotera, mother of children, Cara Capps, great aunts & great uncles, and Many friends.
