Condolences for David Lee Hughes
My brother Dave,
Today the Lord decided to take you from me,
As your body could not take the pain no more.
My brother Dave,
Even though your body may be gone,
I will still see your image standing in front of me,
thru the visions of my eyes.
My brother Dave,
Even though I am unable to hear your voice out loud no more,
I know I will still hear your softly whispers thru the winding winds in my ears.
My brother Dave,
All thru our lives,
We’ve seen and been thru so much,
we had hard times, dramatize times, sad times, bad times, good times, and happy times together,
but, somehow we stayed strong and stood by each other all the way to the end.
My brother Dave,
I’m so glad and honored to have called you and had you as my big brother,
You were always there for me when,
I needed an ear to hear me,
Your eyes that guided me in the right direction,
Your voice that spoke for me when no one understood me.
My brother Dave,
As you leave this earth,
and walk thru heavens gates,
your soul has been lifted into a peaceful place,
you will be united with all our loved ones,
and will live pain free and happy once again.
My brother Dave,
I want to say these last words to you again,
I love you so very much,
and thank-you for being,
My brother Dave.
