Cynthia Sue Ward

Cynthia Sue Ward, 66, of Lincoln, NE passed away on July 7, 2025.

Cynthia was born February 1, 1959 in Lincoln, NE. She was the daughter of Maurice and Illa-Dean Ward (Nelson).

She is survived by her daughter, son-in-law, and their two young daughters. As well as her two brothers and her dearest friend, also named Cindy.

Cynthia loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, crocheting, making cards, and listening to oldies and classic rock. But more than anything, she loved spending time with her granddaughters and enriched their lives in immeasurable ways.

    This breaks my heart, we were young friends once, and I loved Cindy as a sister. I am so sorry to learn of her passing. She was a kind and beautiful soul.
