Charlene Rae Willet
Charlene Rae (Bohrer) Willet flew away on October 27, 2023. She was born on July 21, 1944.
Charlene grew up in Beatrice, NE, with the best childhood memories! She graduated from Beatrice Highschool in 1962. She married Robert (Buck) Willet and their greatest joy was their 2 daughters! Buck sadly passed in 1969 at age 30, after a battle with Cancer. Charlene then was a stay-at-home mom for many years in Lincoln, raising both young girls on her own. She then worked as an Administrative Assistant at McKesson Corp., in Lincoln and in Harrison, Arkansas. Returned to Lincoln to work as an Annuities Rep at Allstate Insurance Co. However, her proudest achievement was being a mother, special aunt and fun-loving grandmother (Mammo). Her greatest joy was time spent with her family. She adored her 3 grandsons and loved every moment spent with them! She loved the many family vacations and the girl trips spent with her daughters and nieces.
Survived by 2 Daughters Corey (Ken) Koziol and Timi Willet, both of Lincoln. 3 Grandsons Eli Koziol of Derby, KS, Trae Koziol and Josh Hain, both of Lincoln. 2 Nieces Julee Ferrara of Eagle Pt, OR, and Jena Hubbard of Folsom, CA. Along with several Cousins from KS and TX, and many Great Nephews from MO, CA and OR.
Preceded in death by her Husband Robert (Buck) Willet, Mother Marguerite (Black) Bohrer, Father Paul (Speck) Bohrer, Brothers Cecil Wrightsman, Paul (Allen) Bohrer and Sister Jeanette (Bohrer) Hubbard. Along with many Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Charlene will always be remembered for her silly wit, and as having the biggest, kindest heart and smile for everyone she ever met. She will be missed dearly by so many!

Condolences for Charlene Rae Willet
I can’t believe that she won’t be with us in this world, but I am sure is very happy in the next. She was my parent’s favorite niece and spent plenty of time staying with us and helping my mom out when she needed it.
So kind and funny. We always looked forward to spending time with her.
Love
This truly shocks me. I have enjoyed seeing pictures of her with her daughters and her grandkids, who she truly loved. May she enjoy seeing her family again.
Im so very sorry to hear of your moms passing. I know how close you all were and I pray your memories will comfort you now and in the days to come. Sending prayers to your whole family.
I loved when Char would go places with Timi and I! She was so funny and always had a smile. I will never forget her telling us every day in the summer to put on sunscreen and then getting mad at us the next day because we didn’t…..or trying to have a conversation with Char and Timi but never being able to get a single word in. They would ask me a question and give me less than 2 seconds to answer and then already be onto the next topic. She was so kind to me and always treated me like a daughter. She will be missed!
Timi,
The adventures that you were able to do with your Mom were the best. I could tell that your Mom, sister and you were all best friends. She was a special lady. Everyone needs to have as much fun and life that Char did!

So sorry for your loss. I remember Corey speaking of her Mom many times
Take comfort in the fact that many people are remembering all of the family members with their heartfelt condolences
Red Rover, Red Rover …. send Tommy over …. we chased fireflies and hunted 4 leaf clovers together …. a million memories are chasing through my mind …. I love you Char ….. you were my Hollywood …. I was ready for you to join our other angels.
Charlene’s joy and smile made everyone happier in her presence. We are all richer in having shared part of our lives with her. Always endeared with her vibrant memories and stories, Charlene’s legacy will long impact so many of us. She will be with us forever and beloved by us all.
I am so heartbroken and sad that Shani has flown away to heaven. There is no one in this world like your mother. She was a special person, an awesome aunt and because we are all so close we made some wonderful memories together and those memories are tucked away within our hearts for us to recall whenever we want. I will always cherish all the special times we had together. You two have been so strong. You know I’m here if and when you ever need me. Love you to the moon and back.
Charlene was a fun loving person and alway had a big smile on her face. I always enjoyed her company. One memory I will never forget was when Charlene’s napkin caught fire at one of
the LBL Christmas parties. Charlene threw the napkin off the table over our heads and stomped the fire out. Timi and Cory your Mom was a very special lady and deeply loved her family. Hold your memories close. I’m so sad for your loss. Thinking of you and your family.
