Condolences for Carol Ann Roth (Dumpert) Johanson
My condolences to Jeff and Carol’s relatives and friends. Carol and I spent a lot of time together in our “growing up” years in Villisca. I remember going to her home after school and having fun times. Her mother Bonnie made great snacks for us and joined in our fun times! Carol had her mother’s great sense of humor. I know that humor went far in the classroom to help her relate to her students. I imagine she must have been a great teacher. So sorry to hear of her passing.
Please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your loved one Carol. May you find comfort and peace in the memories you have and the love you shared. I am sure that she will be missed by many, including her students.
My sincerest condolences for your loss. When having lunch recently with 2 classmates in Omaha, we were bemoaning the fact that Carol had not come to our 50th class reunion 5 years ago after Julie had tracked her down. Perhaps Villisca held too many sad memories for her having lost both parents so young. Somewhere I have a picture of our Bluebirds (kind of like Girl Scouts) group in her home and one of she and I all dressed up for a junior high party outside her house. She had a wonderful smile and a great sense of humor. Jeff, I am so sorry that you had so little time together after your marriage.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. John, and Carol’s first husband, John were classmates and good friends. Carol taught our children and they loved her. May God’s blessings be with you!
