Candy Lee Beaman

Candy L. Beaman of Hanover, Kansas, 58, passed away on August 14, 2025 at Bryan West Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. Candy was born on October 17, 1966 in Zanesville, Ohio, to Emma Fogel and Jacky Clark.

Candy had her own band and sang in a bar, at one time she drove semi for a living until at such time she became disabled. She enjoyed life, liked joking around, enjoying family, and friends and having fun. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, music and going to the casinos. She loved her Ohio Buckeyes Football team watched them on tv every chance she could.

She was married to Larry Grant of Zanesville, Ohio; Ken Hunter of Washington State; and John Beaman of Holly, Colorado.

She is survived by stepson Bryce Beaman; several siblings: Tony Johnson of Anchorage, Alaska; Pam Sinfield of Pleasant City, Ohio; Jack Clack Jr. of Warren, Michigan; Scott McElfresh of Wymore, Nebraska; Roy McElfresh of Hanover, Kansas; Shannon Carpenter of Cumberland, Ohio; Steve Clark of Zanesville, Ohio; Sonny Clark of Cambridge, Ohio; as well as Aunt Iris Bates (Aunt Pudge) of Zanesville, Ohio; one Uncle; and several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by one of her best friends, Wendy Ward of Zanesville, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her parents Emma Fogel and Jacky Clark; two sisters Patty Nicleson and Kathy Stevens; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.
