Brian “Boat” Curtis Livingston
January 7, 1940 – January 25, 2018
Born to John and Blanche (Dyer) Livingston on January 7, 1940 in Lincoln, he was a member of the United States Navy, an instructor of tool/dye and a machinist at Southeast Community College – Lincoln Campus for 30 years. Enjoyed watching NASCAR and Husker football. Avid golfer.
Brian is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha (May) Livingston; daughter and son-in-law, Judy Livingston and Todd Debuse of Lincoln; son and daughter-in-law, Curt and Tracy Livingston of Houston; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Crystal Livingston of Lincoln; grandchildren, Olivia, Tanner, Dekota, Berkeley, Bella; brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Diana Livingston of Colorado; sister, Joy Hardy of Colorado. Preceded in death by his parents.

We’re so sorry to learn of “Boats” passing. Larry was a neighbor of Boat & Martha in Hickman and enjoyed many hours sitting on his porch shooting the breeze. He will be missed greatly.
Very sorry to hear of “Boats” passing. Enjoyed many great days on the golf course and many cold ones afterward with our friend. Brian was a true mentor and helped so many young people at SCC gain knowledge and skills to better their lives. He will be greatly missed by many and always remembered. Rest in peace my friend.
