Brad A. Bohy, age 64, passed away on October 1, 2025 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born on February 12, 1961, in Broken Bow, Nebraska, to Benjamin and Elaine Bohy.

Brad was a proud Nebraskan who loved cheering on the Huskers and sharing that passion with others. Above all, he cherished time with his family. His greatest joy was being a father and grandfather, and he especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.

He is survived by his sisters, Tami Scholl and her children, Geoffrey and Courtney Scholl, and Kim Bohy; his daughter, Samantha Bohy and her partner, James Wayman, and their daughter, Jade; and his son, Nathan Bohy and his wife, Courtney, along with their two sons, Jayden and Grayson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Elaine Bohy.

Brad will be remembered for his love of family, his Husker spirit, and the many special memories he created with those he loved. His warmth, laughter, and devotion will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

In keeping with his wishes, no service will be held.

My condolences to the entire family. The years have left lots of space between us but as an underclassman, I always looked up to Brad! I have many fond memories especially when BBHS went to the state basketball tournament his senior year. Love you Brad!

Brad was a classmate, who became a friend late in high school and beyond. I was shocked to hear of his passing. May the Lord comfort the family in a way only He can. Sincerely, Kevin J. Fink

To his family I am so sorry for this loss. I have so many memories from sports in high school. Lots of talks about the huskers when he was on the road. Got to see a whole different side of him with his love for his family involved in our calls recently! I will miss our calls Boomer!

So sorry for your loss, I never have had the opportunity to talk to Brad, with me being in the Navy during the Vietnam war. My prayers go out to the family, just know Brad is in a better place with the Lord. 🙏 Robb Bangert
