Bobby J. Duchek

Bobby Joe Duchek was born to Leroy and Marjorie (Remington) Duchek on September 25, 1954, in Lincon, Nebraska. He entered his eternal home on August 25, 2023, after a long battle of throat and lung cancer.

Bob was raised on a farm south of Dorchester, Nebraska with his brother and sister, Randy and Angie. Where he got the love of farming with his dad. He had attended Country School till 2nd grade and continued his education at Dorchester Public Schools. Throughout school he competed in football and basketball. Following graduation (1972) Bob worked at Alpo, Kassik Milling Company, and Petersen Manufacturing Company. He continued to work there till he left to work on the farm with his dad. Then fulfilled a long life of farming. At the time he also dabbed in working at Nebraska Public Power and Spilker Trucking.

He married Pam Vergith on December 17th, 1976, and was married for 46 years. To that union two girls Carmen and Jennifer were born. He took pride in his family and Jennifer blessed him with two beautiful granddaughters, Jayana and Tierra.  He enjoyed going to all their school functions and supporting the audience.

Bob was proceeded in death by his daughter; Jennifer, parent; Leroy and Marjorie, In-laws; Tad and Barb Vergith, and brother- in- law; Mike Pierce.

He survived by his wife; Pam Duchek, daughter; Carmen Blazek, granddaughter; Jayana and Tierra Duchek, brother; Randy (Christine) Duchek, sister; Angie Pierce, brother-in-law; Gary (Bonnie) Vergith, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
