I’m sorry to hear Audrey has passed. I worked for Audrey for a while when I first moved to Lincoln. I was her handyman and enjoyed working for her and learning about her extrodinary life. She was one of a kind.

Audrey was my most dear friend & truly loved our days together. She had MANY AMAZING EXPERIENCES after reading her Lincoln Journal Star story by Cindy Lange-Kubik 2013 (?). I’m hosting a memorial Pioneer House gathering in her honor. If you have suggestions for memorial donation please let me know. SHE LOVED GOD, FAMILY, FRIENDS, ART, & VISITS WITH PEOPLE

Audrey was one of a kind! She really did live life to its fullest. Many stories: Taking a ship, rather than fly, to Europe because she wanted to experience the trip; working in a logging camp in Alaska, painting pictures along the Seine while in Paris, picking blueberries in Denmark! My partner and I worked for her when she was remodeling her building at 17th and N Streets. Her stories while on break made the experience memorable. We called one another on our birthdays – I will miss that. My sincere condolences to all her family and friends.

My parents were students of Ms. Audrey when we first moved to Lincoln from Vietnam. My parents spoke highly of and always had fond memories of Ms. Audrey. She was always kind to us.

    Rest In Peace, Audrey.

    Condolences to her family
