“Al” Alvin Witzke

“Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His godly ones.” Psalm 116.15

Alvin Witzke, 87, of Crete, Nebraska, was born into this world March 19, 1936 in Shafter, California, to Alvin and Helena Witzke.

He left this world and arrived in Heaven on January 18, 2024.

Al married Joanne Klassen in Inman, Kansas June 4, 1959

He is survived by his wife, Joanne; His son, Doug, and wife Glee, of Crete; His daughter Jan Sorensen and son-in-law Curt; His daughter Kris Sayler and son-in-law John. He is also survived by his brother, Ed, and sister-in-law Judy, as well as six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, 6 nieces and 3 nephews.

Al declared his faith in Jesus Christ, and followed Jesus Christ from that point onward.
He demonstrated that faith by living it out in his life: at home, at work, and at church.

The Memorial service for Al will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 3, at Cornerstone Bible Church; 1430 Hickory Ave., Crete, Nebraska.

Memorials may be sent to Joanne Witzke, in care of Cornerstone Bible Church

    Joanne, so sorry to hear of Al’s death. We have that great hope that being absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. What a consolation!
