Jesse Scott Doak

Jesse Scott Doak, age 37, a Lincoln, NE resident died February 4^th, 2022. His final days were spent surrounded by is family.

No formal services were held. A tree will be planted as a memorial on the family property this spring in Jesse’s honor.

Jesse was born August 17^th, 1984 in Lincoln, NE to Mark Stephen Doak and Kathryn Marie (nee Fikse) Foster.

He graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School. He continued his education at Des Moines Area Community College earning an Associates in Environmental Studies. He attended Iowa State University for additional college courses.

Jesse had many interests and hobbies including frisbee golf, playing guitar, poker, rock climbing, cooking, and watching movies. He also enjoyed any time spent with family and friends.

He worked in various capacities in hospitality, plumbing/HVAC, and construction industries. Through these vocational pursuits, he lived in Nebraska, California, Texas, and Iowa.

He is survived by his mother and step-father; Kathryn and Kim Foster of Martell, NE, his step-mother; Kathy Doak of St. Augustine, FL, and his siblings.

He was preceded in death by his father Mark Doak of St. Augustine, FL.

Jesse brought much joy to the lives of those who loved him. He was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, brother, and friend.
