After exploring life in several different parts of the US, Gayla came home to Lincoln in 1995, where she devoted her time to her work, her family, and her 16 great nieces and nephews.
“Our life on earth is but a moment in God’s plan.”

Condolences for Gayla Jean Anderson
Your light shined so bright. Now you are a star in the heavens.
Gayla was a coworker and friend. We had dinner once a year until last year. I miss her, but am gladdened by the best of memories, including her remarkable insights, some of which I still use for the benefit of others.
I loved Gayla like a sister. I will miss her.
She was so loving and kind. I will remember all the good times we had.
Gayla was my next door neighbor many years ago. I’m saddened to hear of her passing. She was a very sweet person, loved by those around her. She left her loved ones and many others with memories that will carry forward for years to come. May she rest in peace.
