Barbara J. Horton, 65, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday July 4, 2019. Born December 15, 1953 in Hastings, NE to LaVerne and Evelyn (Parr) Horton.
Survivors: Son, Alex Wolfe and wife Jade. Daughter, Katie Kempf and husband Roger. 4 Grandchildren
Mother, Evelyn Horton of Hastings; Brothers, Robert Horton, Hastings, Daniel Horton of Hastings. Sisters, Cynthia Dudley of Clovis, Calif., Beverly Sommer of Grand Island, Lisa Marten, Halsey, Peggy Zabloudil, Omaha, Sarah Jurgensmeier, Wahoo.
Preceded in death by her father, Laverne Horton and brother Creighton Horton both of Hastings.

I am so sorry. Barb was such a kind person. I’ll never forget her.
I went to school with Barb, and I just learned of her death. She was such a fun and wonderful person, and we had many sleepovers together growing up. I’m so very sorry for your loss, and God rest her soul in peace. So very sorry to learn of her passing; she’s gone way too soon. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
