Dave was a kind man and I never heard him speak bad about anyone in the seven years Chuck and I knew him. He had a servant’s heart. I think of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 when I think of Dave. The world needs more like Dave. He loved Ham radio and he especially loved the annual Amateur Radio June Field Day event. He will be greatly missed.

Boy am I going to miss you at ham events and meetings. You were so positive and upbeat through this entire ordeal, but that is you–a joy of sunshine to be around.. I will also miss you at the fair; your cart was an icon. Dave…now that God has you under his wing, show him how to build a tower!!! You are the expert!

I enjoyed working with Dave at all of the ham functions. I was glad to see him before he passed on. He will be missed by a lot of people. Dave will be in a better place where there is no more pain.
