John Wright Summers, 75, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2019, with his children, Laura and David, by his side.
Memorial Service was on Thursday, April 25th at 2:oo p.m. at the Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138.
Followed, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. was a casual gathering at John’s favorite hangout, Famous Dave’s, 2750 Pine Lake Rd, Lincoln, NE 68516.

John and I were best friends at Elgin Academy all through our 4 years of high school. He was my best man at my first wedding and was there to help me bury my first wife and 3 children as a result of an auto accident. If I’d have known, I would have been there for him.
