Terry was a good hearted man who was always willing to help when you needed it I lived two houses down from him with my aunt.
So sorry for your loss, terry was like another grandfather to me! I also have a few questions about the dog buddy that my family gifted him so if you could email me that would be great.
I guess I could be mistaken but as I see it from the Powell/Grubaugh families (Terry’s) there is only Jason left. And so for Jason I send my heart felt sympathies.
I live in a little wider environment which includes also the Fricke side. During 2018 I have felt the loss of 9 immediate family members, immediate meaning direct family and the in-law side whom I consider family just as much. Some will say things like “Sorry for your loss.” but they will not understand that sorrow.
May you find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always, and strength in the companionship of those who share your loss. With deepest sympathy.
Rest in Peace, I haven’t seen you since we roomed together in college and it is too late now. God bless your soul.
Just now finding out about Terry’s passing. We really had some good times growing up around David City. When your parents would go on summer vacation, Bob and You and US would have Purple Passion parties at your folks house. 190 Proof Grain Alcohol and Grape, Hawaiian Punch. Zowie. Charley Platz lit some and almost started a fire. We all had nicknames and Terrys was Thinners. Hey Dave remember going through Teachers yard with your Cushman Silver Eagle scooter? Rat….
