Glenda Lee Honnens

Glenda Lee Honnens 83 of Lincoln Nebraska passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday November 10th, 2018. Glenda was born in Lincoln Nebraska March 18th, 1935 to Hobart and Allegra Hays.
Glenda was married to Carl Honnens for 61 years and was a wonderful loving mother to their five children. Glenda loved to bring the family together for delicious holiday meals. She was an avid flower gardener who always brought beauty to the neighborhood.
Glenda was a real estate agent for Hub Hall Realty. Later in life Glenda found her true calling as a hospice caregiver with Tabitha. She touched many lives with her gentle and compassionate care. Glenda was known as an angel on earth to many patients and their families.
Glenda is survived by her daughter in-law Linda Honnens, son Gary Honnens and wife Pam, son Steve Honnens and wife Kim, daughter Carol Sutter and husband Lance and son Stuart Honnens and wife Cindy. Glenda also had 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Carl, son Mitchell and granddaughter Heather.
A celebration of life will be held this summer.
