Condolences for Margo A. Youker
I remember Margo as a lovely, gentle woman who loved her boys, Craig, Tad, and Chris. She had the cutest sense of humor and I always loved her laugh. I’m thankful I got to see her this summer as did her other family members in Traverse City. Much gratitude to Craig, Tad, Shelly, and John for caring and loving her the last weeks of her life.
I worked with Margo several years at SCC–she was a mentor to me when I began my career at the college. She was a kind and compassionate woman and instructor. She will be missed!
To the family of Margo. Am so sorry to hear of the passing of Margo. For years, I taught with her at SCC. I helped her in many ways to decorate her home and lawn just west of south 70th. To sons Craig, Tad, & Chris you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Was so sorry to hear of your mom’s death. We really enjoyed our visit in Traverse City with Margo this summer and meeting Tad and Michelle. Margo said, “she didn’t know she was loved by so many people”. What a sweet lady! You all took such good care of her.
Margo was a friend & fellow teacher at Southeast Community College for many years……I thought the world of her. Blessings to her family at this time.
I am so sorry that I did not make it up to Traverse City Mi this last summer in time to see Aunt Margo at the gathering at cousin Steve and Toby’s home. I did get to see the pictures taken at that family gathering. What I remember most about my sweet auntie was how soft spoken she was. She loved her boys and that really was her life. At my mom’s celebration of life in 2006, Aunt Margo was there and we did get to see one another. What she said about mom (Joan Light) her sister, was that my mom was working and saving money to purchase her little sister Margo a new bicycle. It touched my heart because I didn’t know this about my mom.
Margo was a beautiful soul and I will see her once again when the good Lord takes me home. Blessings of peace and comfort to my cousins Chris, Tad and Craig and family. She will be missed.
