I so very sorry Loved Doris very much!
She will be so very Missed…..
I worked with Her for many years at Lincoln Surgical Hospital..
So sorry to hear about Doris! She was a marvelous lady and a friend to all! She was so nice and so friendly and fun! She will be missed!! I never met Sandy and Don Bouwens and family but heard wonderful things about them! They were family to Doris and were loved so much by Doris and she always appreciated all they did for her!!! Thanks to Sandy and Don for all you did for Doris! My sympathy goes to you guys and to Doris’s son and family. We knew Doris and Harvey from square dancing and later in life we reconnected at St. Elizabeth! She was volunteering on the “joint replacement’ floor. We saw her quite frequently and it was always so fun to see her!!!
Harvey Lee and Family – So sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. It brought back many memories of the times our families and especially us kids (You, Peggy, Kenny and Myself) spent together. We were all so close and then unfortunately the years took us all in different directions. Mom and I talk a lot about those times and I have always enjoyed seeing your Mom when I was visiting at the hospital. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed helping the people.
God Bless you during this time and know my heart cries but she’s now at peace and with your Dad
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts & prayers are with you at this difficult time. Harvey & Doris were lifelong friends of my parents (Raymond & Elaine Jacobson). I had the pleasure of working with Doris at Eye Surgical Associates. I will miss her as will all those whose lives she touched.
I am sorry to hear of Doris’ passing. She was such a lovely lady and I very much enjoyed visiting with her when I would drop off black walnuts to her. She was one of our best customers over the 15+ years of selling them. She will be missed greatly!
I would have liked to see you one more time. Doris was such a friendly, happy woman and it was a delight to see and visit with her. She will be missed. Bernie has passed away, but he would say the same things about you.
I would have loved it if I could have seen her one more time. Bernie and I would run into her and she was so happy and glad to see us also.
See you in heaven Doris.
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Doris. My life was touched by Doris thru my sister Sandy. There was a special love and bond between them. When I would visit Sandy’s and her family I watched what a big part Doris played in their life and she in theirs. There was always the breakfast at Village Inn before a day of shopping at the thrift stores. I as remember her strong faith in God and the many books that she shared with me and note of love & prayers. I know that the next time I visits my sister I will miss seeing Doris. I know that she is home in heaven with the God she loves. Rest in Peace Doris. Love Kathy Johnson
