Lila L. Maslonka, age 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with dementia.

Born on January, 18th, 1941 in Oakland, NE to Harry “Carl” & Stella (Cannady) Conklin. She dedicated her life to her husband, George, her children Brian and Kelly,and grandchildren. She loved reading, crosswords, and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her unwavering support of her family, fun loving spirit, and unconditional love of others.

She is survived by her husband, George of 67 years, her children, Brian Maslonka and Kelly Mitchell (Maslonka), son in law Scott Mitchell, and her 3 grandchildren Tanner, Taylor, and Sydney Mitchell, brother Wesley Conklin, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Beverly Tranmer, Evelyn Potter, and Donna Ranta; brothers, Duane, Donald, Douglas and Jack Conklin.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23rd. 2026 at Eastridge Presbyterian Church 1135 Eastridge Dr, Lincoln, NE 68510.
