Dianne M. Nelson

Dianne passed away on September 9th, 2025 and was 81.

She was born in Bemidji, MN to Maynard and Dorothy Haga. She was the oldest to her brother, Steve Haga of Oak Harbor, Washington.

Dianne had an amazing life. She had 4 daughters: Kris, Angie, Shana and Nichol. Married Albert Nelson in 1982 and gained 2 stepsons in Mitch and Marty Nelson. Al and Dianne were married for 43 years.

In 1991, Dianne started her dream and passion of designing dance clothing, which became Dianne Designs.  Dianne and Al traveled all over the US and Europe selling their dance clothing. Dianne and Al also loved to dance and danced until her passing. Dianne and Al also raised and sold Cockatiels to pet stores for over 35 years.

Dianne and Al lived amongst many friends in Navarre, FL., Omaha, NE., Ocala, FL., Duluth, MN. and Lincoln, NE. throughout their lives and hosted many card parties.

Dianne has 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A Celebration Of Life will take place on Saturday, October 11th, from 1pm – 3pm at Asher Point Independent Living: 1111 S 70th St, Lincoln, NE 68510.
