Patti Denise Kier
Patti Kier went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2025 while at her daughter’s home in Lincoln, NE after a short battle with cancer.
Patti was born and graduated from Benkelman, NE. Their family lived in several places in between due to her father’s job in construction. His job took them all over Nebraska and even to Miami, OK and Daytona Beach, FL.
As an adult she ran a successful cleaning business in Dallas, TX; Benkelman, NE; and Grand Island, NE that spanned over 40 years and had some clients as long as 20 years.
Patti had a zest for life and loved people. Some of her favorite things were playing cards and Farkle, camping – especially the campfires, watching Turner Classic movies, coffee with friends, and listening to oldies music. She also loved spending time with her grandkids, playing and attending as many of their events as possible. Most of all Patti loved God and was active in Women’s Aglow for many years and was also a licensed preacher.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Wes Kier and Jacque Beeson, niece Jen Kier
Survivors: Brother, Wes (Alan) Kier, Sister, Deb Kier, Daughter Shannon (Andy) Stava, grandchildren, Trinity (16), Joelle (14) and Zeke (2).
Patti will be sorely missed by her friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Destiny Church: 4306 W HWY 30, Grand Island, NE 68803. Luncheon to follow.

Patti was always an independent soul who was full of hope, full of Jesus, full of caring. She worked hard and was very interested in family.Her daughter was her pride and joy. We are sorry she died too soon.
Patti was a school classmate. We just had a class reunion and I was able to catch up and visit with her. My sympathy to her family, her daughter and grandchildren and her siblings. May God comfort you in the months and years ahead. God Bless, Paige
