Beverly Lou Krachey Loden-Isaacs

featured image

Beverly Lou Krachey Loden-Isaacs was born in Valparaiso, Indiana in 1939.

Her mother Dorothy Johnson Krachey had six sisters, and Beverly felt that her Aunt Helen – Aunt Hom – was the most positive influence in her life as she grew up. In high school Beverly paired up with Leo Loden; they married and had sons Jeff and Mark. While most of the Johnson clan was sticking close to “Valpo,” after Beverly and Leo divorced, Bev and her new husband Aaron O’Neill moved to southern California.

Beverly and the boys were soon on their own and lived in San Bernardino, CA. Once the boys were grown, Beverly moved to Albuquerque, NM. There she managed to attend college courses and earn her master’s degree, a proud accomplishment. She then moved to Gallup, NM, and worked as a counsellor there for several happy years.

When the opportunity came to be near grandchildren, Bev arrived in Nebraska to be close to Jeff’s growing family of five kids.

Bev met the last love of her life, Darrell Isaacs, on a date at The Village Inn, and the two enjoyed being grandparents to both their families, baby-sitting a couple baby boys to school age, and raising horses, dogs, and cats. They were united in their love of animals and all young things.
